Gail was a volunteer of the American Red Cross Association from 2010 to 2015. The American Red Cross Association is a non-profit that helps communities respond and prepare for disasters.

She is an active member of the Val Verde County Bar Association since 2010. Throughout her time spent in the association,  she held the positions of Treasurer, Vice President, and President. 

Gail was a member of this State Bar of Texas (SBOT) committee where she researched possible uses of mediation in criminal matters and assisted in designing a pilot program.

In Gail's spare time, she volunteered at the local Philip Mahl Memorial Kitchen here in Del Rio, Texas as a class instructor and facilitator and served on the boards for the Del Rio Council for the Arts and PMMK. 

Gail was a volunteer for our local Rotary Club. She volunteered in various community outreach and fundraising events. 

She was a guest speaker for the Border Patrol Explorer program where she 

provided legal instruction to students regarding 4th Amendment and Search and Seizure. She also guided the class discussion on federal and state criminal laws.
